Aluminum Bellcrank Base Overview:

The Yokomo Aluminum Bellcrank Base is an optional steering upgrade designed for the Yokomo RD2.0 drift chassis. Machined from aluminum, this base increases the mounting rigidity of the bellcrank posts while also allowing the bellcrank offset to be changed for additional steering geometry tuning.

About the Aluminum Bellcrank Base

Increased Steering Rigidity

The aluminum construction provides a more rigid mounting point for the steering bellcrank posts. This helps reduce unwanted movement in the steering assembly and provides a more direct, consistent steering feel.

Adjustable Bellcrank Offset

Changing the bellcrank offset expands the available Ackermann ratio adjustment, giving drivers additional control over the steering geometry. According to Yokomo, this setup can produce a stronger front tracing feel while maintaining steering grip when rear traction increases during corner exit.
