Welcome to My Tobbies – Toys & Hobbies. These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of www.mytobbies.com (the "Site") and any purchase you make through it. The Site is owned and operated by My Tobbies – Toys & Hobbies, a Gumusel LLC company ("My Tobbies," "we," "us," or "our"). By browsing the Site, creating an account, or placing an order, you agree to be bound by these Terms and by our Privacy Policy. Please read them carefully — if you do not agree, please do not use the Site or place an order.
My Tobbies has been Tampa Bay's hobby shop since 2010, specializing in remote-controlled cars, trucks, boats, planes, helicopters, drones, tanks, and general hobbies, backed by a large in-stock inventory of parts and accessories. Our TOYS+ department offers toys, games, and collectibles for all ages, and our sister facility, MTRC Raceway, is a separate racing venue with its own site (mtrcraceway.com) and terms. Our retail location is at 2218 University Square Mall, Tampa, FL 33612.
You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your state of residence, to create an account or place an order on the Site. If you are under 18, a parent or legal guardian must review and accept these Terms on your behalf and supervise your use of the Site. Consistent with our Privacy Policy, the Site is directed at, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from, anyone under the age of 13.
We work hard to keep product descriptions, images, and prices accurate, but errors can occasionally happen — including on pricing, availability, and specifications supplied by manufacturers. We reserve the right to correct any error and to refuse, limit, or cancel any order affected by one, even after you've received an order confirmation; if we cancel an order for this reason, you will receive a full refund. All prices are listed in U.S. dollars, exclude applicable tax and shipping unless stated otherwise, and are subject to change without notice. Many hobby-grade items require assembly, tools, paint, adhesive, batteries, a charger, or a radio system that may be sold separately — please check each listing (e.g., "RTR," "BNF," "ARF," "Kit") before you buy.
We accept PayPal, PayPal Pay Later, major debit and credit cards, and Venmo. Placing an order is an offer to buy, and no contract is formed until we accept and process it — typically within 24–48 hours on business days (orders placed after 12:01 PM ET are treated as part of the next business day's batch; we do not process orders on weekends or holidays). We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order, including for suspected fraud, a pricing or listing error, unavailable stock, or a failed payment or identity check.
We currently ship to the contiguous 48 states. Orders to Alaska, Hawaii, or Puerto Rico may still be placed but can carry additional freight charges, invoiced separately; international shipping is not yet available. We cannot ship to APO/FPO addresses, P.O. boxes, or freight-forwarding companies. The carrier selected at checkout is used in most cases, but we may substitute another carrier if it will get your order to you faster or handle its size, weight, or contents more safely. Certain products — including rechargeable batteries, model rocket motors, and flammable adhesives, fuels, or paints — are regulated hazardous materials and may ship by ground only and/or be excluded from certain destinations, consistent with carrier and DOT rules. Order cancellations are subject to a 10% processing fee, or 25% if the order has already been packed and labeled for shipment. Most new, unopened, and unused items may be returned within 30 days of purchase with a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number, requested in writing at [email protected]; returns sent without an RMA will not be processed. Except where the return is a result of our error, you are responsible for return shipping, and approved refunds are subject to a 25% restocking fee, with original shipping charges non-refundable. Refunds are typically issued within about three weeks of us receiving your return. Pre-owned or used items are sold as-is; please review the listing carefully, as such items may not qualify for return under this policy.
Pre-orders and back-orders are paid-in-full purchases for merchandise that is not yet available or is temporarily out of stock. They are not guaranteed and are fulfilled in the order received, based on what we ultimately get from the manufacturer or distributor. We recommend placing pre-orders and back-orders separately from in-stock merchandise, since combining them in one order means everything ships together once the pre-ordered item arrives. Our optional loyalty program earns one point for every $1 spent (excluding tax and shipping), with bonus points available for adding your birthday. In-store and mytobbies.com accounts are tracked separately unless you ask us to merge them, employees and sponsored team members are not eligible, and orders placed through third-party marketplaces (such as eBay or Amazon) do not earn points. Any other promotions, discount codes, or giveaways we run from time to time are governed by the specific rules posted with that promotion, which take precedence over any conflicting general statement in these Terms.
My Tobbies gift cards do not expire, are not redeemable for cash except where required by law, and cannot be used to purchase additional gift cards. We are not responsible for gift cards that are lost, stolen, or used without your authorization once redeemed. Gift cards are valid for purchases at My Tobbies – Toys & Hobbies only.
Remote-control vehicles, drones, model rockets, and similar hobby products can involve moving parts, sharp edges, small parts, flammable fuel, rechargeable lithium batteries, and other elements that call for careful handling and, in many cases, adult supervision. By purchasing these products, you agree to follow the manufacturer's instructions and included warnings; to charge, store, and dispose of batteries as the manufacturer directs; and to operate RC vehicles, drones, and rockets safely and in compliance with all applicable FAA, state, and local rules, including any drone registration or no-fly-zone requirements. Many hobby-grade kits require assembly, tools, soldering, gluing, or painting, and may not include a battery, charger, radio, or fuel unless the listing states otherwise (e.g., "RTR"). My Tobbies is a retailer, not the manufacturer, of the branded products we carry; where a manufacturer's warranty applies, we're happy to help you navigate that process, but the warranty itself is the manufacturer's obligation, not ours.
The Site and its content — including text, graphics, the My Tobbies, TOYS+, and MTRC Raceway names and logos, and product photography and video — are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use them commercially without our prior written permission. Other product names, logos, and brands shown on the Site belong to their respective owners.
www.mytobbies.com is the only website we own and operate. We do not sell through any other domain, and we're not responsible for orders, payments, or promises made on any site or social media ad that imitates our name or branding but isn't ours. If you create an account, you're responsible for providing accurate information and for keeping your password confidential. You're responsible for all activity under your account, and you agree to let us know right away at [email protected] if you suspect any unauthorized use.

The Site may link to third-party services (such as payment processors or social media) or to MTRC Raceway's separate site, mtrcraceway.com. We don't control, and aren't responsible for, the content, policies, or practices of any third-party site.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Site and the products sold on it are provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind beyond those expressly stated on a product listing or provided by the manufacturer. We don't guarantee that the Site will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, My Tobbies and Gumusel LLC will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Site or a product purchased through it. Our total liability for any claim relating to an order is limited to the amount you paid for the product(s) giving rise to the claim.
You agree to indemnify and hold My Tobbies, Gumusel LLC, and our employees harmless from any claim or demand — including reasonable attorneys' fees — arising from your misuse of a product, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any law or third party's rights.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute that can't be resolved informally will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Hillsborough County, Florida.
We may update these Terms from time to time; changes take effect as soon as they're posted, and the "Last Updated" date above will reflect the most recent revision. Continuing to use the Site after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will stay in full effect.
