The Yokomo RD, SD, and MD Aluminum Lightweight Spur Gear Hub is an optional drivetrain upgrade designed for the Rookie Drift, Super Drift, and Master Drift platforms when used with the Yokomo Aluminum Top Shaft (YOKRD-631 - sold separately).

Featuring a larger diameter design, this lightweight aluminum hub improves spur gear support for smoother and more stable rotation during operation. By positioning the spur gear closer to the gear case, it helps reduce stress on the top shaft while providing a more direct and responsive throttle feel.

The precision-machined aluminum construction delivers lightweight performance while improving drivetrain consistency. Enhanced spur gear positioning helps maintain proper gear engagement, reducing drivetrain wobble and providing smoother power delivery.
