The Yokomo Graphite Battery Holder Set is a lightweight chassis upgrade designed for compatible Yokomo RD, SD, and MD series drift cars. Originally introduced with the SD3.0 Competition Kit, the RD-118CG combines a matte graphite battery plate with aluminum mounting components to provide a clean, lightweight, and secure solution for mounting short LiPo battery packs.
A convenient flip-style battery stopper allows the battery to be installed and removed quickly without completely removing the retaining hardware, making battery changes easier between drift sessions.
The battery holder uses a lightweight graphite plate to provide a rigid battery mounting solution without adding unnecessary weight to the chassis.
Its machined profile and matte finish also complement the graphite chassis components commonly found on competition-oriented drift builds.
Yokomo incorporates a flip-style battery stopper that simplifies battery installation and removal.
Instead of completely removing the battery retaining hardware each time the pack needs to be changed, the stopper can be moved out of the way for quicker access to the battery.
This is especially useful during track sessions where batteries are changed frequently.
The RD-118CG is designed specifically for short-size LiPo battery packs.
