The Tekno RC MT48 2.0 1/8 Electric 4WD Off-Road Performance Monster Truck Kit is engineered for extreme bashing, massive jumps, and high-performance off-road driving. Developed over two years and built upon more than a decade of proven Tekno RC platforms, the MT48 2.0 combines race-inspired engineering with exceptional durability, making it an ideal platform for demanding RC enthusiasts.
At the heart of the MT48 2.0 is a revised 4mm 7075 aluminum chassis that delivers the ideal balance of strength and chassis flex while accommodating a wide variety of 1/10 and 1/8 scale monster truck bodies. Equal-length 16mm big bore aluminum shocks provide smooth, consistent damping across rough terrain, while the versatile platform makes customization easy without sacrificing performance.
Built for extreme conditions, the MT48 2.0 features universal driveshafts at all four corners, hardened steel ring and pinion gears, and oversized bearings for maximum drivetrain reliability. Heavy-duty suspension components, oversized 5mm hinge pins, and steel-core hinge pin braces derived from Tekno's championship-winning truggy platforms provide exceptional strength and long-lasting durability.
Designed to withstand the punishment of aggressive bashing, the MT48 2.0 incorporates steel pivot balls, full-size bumpers, skid plates, and a factory-installed wheelie bar for added protection during hard landings and wheelies. Redesigned shock boots and body mounts help reduce wear while keeping dirt and debris away from critical components.
