The Tekno RC Lightened Hardened Steel Differential Coupler is a durable drivetrain component designed for compatible Tekno RC 1/8 scale vehicles. Constructed from hardened steel and lightened to reduce unnecessary rotating mass, the TKR5075 provides a strong connection between the differential pinion and driveshaft while maintaining factory drivetrain geometry.
Depending on the vehicle, the TKR5075 can be used as a front or rear differential coupler. It is also used with select Tekno V4 drivetrain configurations and can serve as the required coupler for compatible center dog bone conversions.
The TKR5075 is manufactured from hardened steel to provide the strength and wear resistance required for demanding RC drivetrain applications.
Its durable construction is designed to withstand repeated acceleration, braking, jumping, and the drivetrain loads generated by high-performance 1/8 scale vehicles.
Material is removed from non-critical areas of the coupler to reduce weight while retaining the strength required for reliable drivetrain operation.
This lightened construction helps minimize unnecessary rotating mass within the drivetrain.
TKR5075 is designed for use as a front and rear differential coupler on compatible Tekno RC platforms.
Its exact installation position depends on the vehicle, so the appropriate Tekno instruction manual should be referenced when replacing or upgrading the original component.
The coupler is also used on Tekno RC V4 kits, where it installs on the rear differential and accepts compatible Tekno V4 dog bone-style drive axles.
This makes the TKR5075 useful both as a replacement component and when maintaining select older Tekno drivetrain configurations.
Tekno also specifies the TKR5075 or TKR5075HD differential coupler for installation of select newer steel center dog bone driveshafts.
