The Tekno RC 68mm 8.0T Shock Spring Set provides an additional suspension tuning option for compatible Tekno RC 1/8 scale buggy platforms. Constructed from 1.4mm spring wire with a 68mm length and 8.0-turn configuration, these springs are part of Tekno's newer short-spring lineup developed for use with lowered shock towers and shorter shock configurations.
This set uses White color identification, allowing the 8.0T springs to be quickly distinguished from other rates in Tekno's 68mm spring lineup. The springs can be installed on either the front or rear suspension, providing additional flexibility when fine-tuning chassis balance and handling.
Tekno developed its 68mm spring lineup to work with its latest lowered shock towers and shorter shocks.
The new spring design provides increased support and quicker suspension response while helping the vehicle maintain a planted and connected feel around the track. This makes the springs useful for tuning across both high-grip surfaces and tighter technical layouts.
The White springs feature 1.4mm diameter wire with an 8.0-turn configuration.
The 8.0T White spring is the highest coil-count option in Tekno's nine-spring 68mm lineup, which ranges from 8.0T down to 6.25T. This provides racers with closely spaced options for making more precise suspension adjustments.
The White 8.0T spring has a 4.18 lb/in spring rate, making it the softest option within Tekno's 68mm spring range.
A softer spring can be useful when additional mechanical grip, chassis movement, or bump absorption is desired, depending on the vehicle setup and track conditions.
Tekno designed the 68mm spring family for use on either the front or rear suspension.
This allows racers to combine different spring rates between the front and rear to adjust steering response, chassis balance, traction, and overall handling characteristics.
Each spring rate in Tekno's 68mm lineup uses a different identification color. The 8.0T version is White, making it easy to identify the installed spring while making setup adjustments at the track.
