The Tekno RC Vented CNC Hardened Brake Disc is a performance-focused braking upgrade designed for Tekno RC NB48 and NT48 nitro platforms. Precision manufactured from hardened steel, this disc combines a flat braking surface with a lightweight vented design to provide consistent braking performance while reducing rotating mass.
The disc features 24 cross-drilled ventilation holes that help dissipate heat and remove unnecessary material. Compared with the standard TKR5345B brake discs, a pair of TKR33345X discs reduces rotating mass by approximately 3.5 grams, helping improve drivetrain response.
The TKR33345X is manufactured from hardened steel for durability under demanding racing conditions.
Its braking surface is precision ground to provide a flat and consistent contact area for the brake pads, helping produce predictable braking response throughout a race.
Each brake disc incorporates 24 cross-drilled holes.
The vented design serves two purposes: improving heat dissipation during repeated braking and reducing the overall mass of the rotating brake assembly.
Installing two TKR33345X discs reduces rotating mass by approximately 3.5 grams per pair compared with the standard brake discs.
Reducing rotating mass can help the drivetrain respond more quickly during acceleration and deceleration. The reduced weight may also provide a small improvement in fuel efficiency during longer races, depending on vehicle setup and track conditions.
The TKR33345X is designed as a direct replacement for the TKR5345B CNC hardened brake disc.
Originally developed for the NB48 2.2 and NT48 2.2 platforms, the new vented disc is also backwards compatible with previous Tekno RC NB48 and NT48 vehicles that use the standard TKR5345B brake disc.
