Coming in at over 17lbs the Leopard is Taigen’s largest tank to date. This tank comes in at around 27” long, 8.7” wide, and 7.3” tall and was developed with our new solid chassis design in mind. The lower hull again consists of 2 pieces, the main tub and the rear back plate (with x4 tail lights). This tank features a torsion bar suspension with O-rings on the suspension arms to help keep out dust and minor moisture. The upper hull now features metal sliding hatch and metal photo etched grills and dual LED headlights. The turret is metal and features lots of detail and even magnetic turret armor doors too!

This tank comes painted in our tri-color green camo scheme (the unpainted pictures are for reference! metal is silver while plastic is green), our V3 electronics system with new Leopard sound card, proportional smoke unit, track recoil when firing with ability to disable the recoil (the IR also has barrel recoil as well), 4:1 steel V2 ball bearing gearboxes, our 360 degree rotation kit, available in either airsoft or infrared, a solid metal lower chassis, metal suspension arms, metal road wheels with bearings and rubber tires, metal drive wheels, metal adjustable idler wheels with bearings, super durable metal caterpillar tracks, metal turret, metal gun barrel, dual LED machine guns, and other various metal and plastic accessories. The tank comes with a 2000mAh 7.2V NIMH battery and charger, though due to the weight of the tank we do suggest the larger 3000mAh or 5000mAh batteries as well as the MX2 charger to go with this model. This model is also equipped with our easy open system in which the whole tank can be opened by flipping the latch on the bottom of the tank which makes changing batteries and doing maintenance easy.

Since this model uses our V3 electronics you can also use your own 6 channel PWM capable hobby grade transmitter and receiver with this tank. Just follow the instructions in the manual on how to setup! Most brands are compatible, though with Spektrum there is no guarantee. FRSky, FlySky, Futaba, JR, etc have all be reported working perfect with minimal to no setup.
