The SMC Racing SRD-V4 6S 5000mAh 250C LiPo Battery is a high-output pack developed for demanding RC speed run and drag racing applications. Part of SMC's SRD-V4 series, this battery is engineered to minimize voltage drop under heavy loads while delivering the high current output required by powerful brushless setups.
This version comes equipped with a QS8 8mm anti-spark connector for a high-current, low-resistance connection. SMC's QS8 connector is designed to accept wire sizes up to 6AWG, while this battery uses heavy-duty 8AWG power leads.
The SRD-V4 combines a 22.2V 6S configuration, 5000mAh capacity, and 250C discharge rating for applications where high power delivery is a priority. SMC developed the V4 generation using knowledge gained from other high-current RC applications to further reduce voltage drop under load.
Heavy-duty 8AWG power wires are used to handle the high current demands associated with speed run and drag racing setups. This particular battery is supplied with a QS8 connector, providing an 8mm low-resistance connection with anti-spark functionality.
SMC specifies a charge rate range of 1C to 5C. Higher charge rates can reduce the amount of capacity accepted by the battery and may shorten overall cycle life, making lower charge rates preferable when maximum battery longevity is the priority.
