The Revell Surtees TS16/03 All-Included Kit recreates a distinctive Formula 1 race car from the 1974 season in detailed 1/32 scale. Developed by the racing team founded by motorcycle and Formula 1 World Champion John Surtees, the TS16 represents an era of Grand Prix racing known for lightweight chassis, wide tires, prominent airboxes, and naturally aspirated engines.
With 78 individual parts, this Level 5 kit offers an advanced building experience with a detailed multi-part 3-liter engine, complex body construction, and an included driver figure. The finished model measures approximately 5.25 inches long.
This all-included version comes with Revell Aqua Color basic paints, Contacta model glue, and a paint brush, providing the essential finishing supplies needed to assemble and complete the model.

The Surtees TS16 was developed for competition during the 1974 Formula 1 season by Team Surtees. The team was founded by John Surtees, who remains the only competitor to have won World Championships in both motorcycle Grand Prix racing and Formula 1.
The model captures the characteristic appearance of a 1970s Formula 1 machine, including its open cockpit, wide racing tires, prominent rear wing, and distinctive bodywork.
A highlight of the model is its multi-part 3-liter engine, which provides additional mechanical detail to the completed build. The complex body construction allows builders to recreate both the exterior appearance and mechanical character of the original racing car.
A detailed driver figure is supplied for installation in the cockpit, helping create a more complete race-ready presentation. The figure and vehicle can be painted and detailed to complement the included historic racing markings.
The included decals allow the TS16/03 to be recreated in its 1974 South African Grand Prix configuration, representing the car as it competed at Kyalami in March 1974.
With 78 individual components and a Level 5 difficulty rating, this kit is intended for experienced model builders who enjoy working with more intricate assemblies and detailed components.
