The Redcat Ascent-32 V2 is a compact 1/32 scale 4WD rock crawler built to bring authentic crawling features to an easy-to-use micro platform. This Green version comes Ready-to-Run with a brushed power system, 2.4GHz radio, LiPo battery, and USB charger. Its small footprint makes it ideal for creating crawling courses indoors while still providing the suspension and drivetrain features needed for outdoor adventures.
The Ascent-32 V2 uses full-time four-wheel drive with straight front and rear axles for dependable traction across obstacles. Bearing-supported gears, metal axle components, and a full ball-bearing design help provide smooth drivetrain operation despite the crawler's compact dimensions.
A 1mm flat steel chassis creates a sturdy foundation for the vehicle. Front and rear 4-link suspension provides the articulation needed for uneven terrain, while aluminum-cap oil-filled coilover shocks help control suspension movement.
The classic crawler-style body uses a front-hinged mounting system that allows it to tilt open for convenient access to the electronics and battery. The clipless arrangement also keeps the exterior clean without exposed traditional body clips.
Aggressive 42mm soft-compound rubber tires mounted on classic off-road wheels provide additional traction and complement the truck's scale appearance.
Power comes from an RC130 brushed motor controlled by a compact 2-in-1 ESC and receiver. A water-resistant sub-micro steering servo handles directional control, while the included 2.4GHz radio system provides proportional operation.
The package also includes a 7.4V 2S 180mAh LiPo battery and USB charger, leaving only four AA batteries needed for the transmitter.
