Ascent-18 BRUSHLESS Rock Crawler
The Redcat Ascent-18 Brushless takes compact crawling to the next level. Powered by a 3450kv brushless motor and 3-channel ESC, this 1:18 scale ready-to-run crawler delivers big performance in a small package—perfect for both indoor courses and outdoor adventures.
Built on a durable aluminum chassis with portal axles, machined aluminum spools, and metal gears throughout, the Ascent-18 offers impressive ground clearance, torque, and reliability. New High Steer (HS) geometry improves steering angle and clearance at the C-Hub, while aluminum-capped oil-filled shocks and full ball bearings ensure smooth, consistent trail performance.
To achieve the High Steer geometry we were looking for, we’ve redesigned the front axle housing, front portal, steering links, and added front portal universal shafts. This new “HIGH STEER” (HS) design provides increased steering and more ground clearance at the C-Hub and gives this mini crawler even more steering than its predecessors.
This RTR package includes a 2.4GHz radio system, 4kg metal-gear micro servo, 750mAh 2S LiPo battery, and charger. The front tilt body makes maintenance a breeze with its quick-release design—no body clips needed.
