Important Lithium Polymer Safety Information
- DO NOT leave a battery in your model while charging.
- DO NOT leave lithium batteries unattended while charging.
- ALWAYS balance charge lithium batteries.
- ALWAYS use a LiPo safe charging bag or charging box.
- ONLY use a LiPo-compatible charger. NiMH and NiCd chargers are not compatible.
- DO NOT over-discharge lithium battery packs.
- READ and understand all instructions before operating this battery.
Battery Care Notes
- Do not over-charge or over-discharge the battery, as this can cause overheating and permanent damage.
- To maximize cycle life, avoid discharging more than 80% of the battery's rated capacity.
- Fully charge the battery before its first use.
- For the first five charge cycles, it is recommended to discharge only about 50% of the battery capacity.
- Set your ESC low-voltage cutoff to no lower than 3.2V per cell.
- Do not continue using a battery that has dropped below a safe voltage.
- Do not expose the battery to direct sunlight or temperatures above 35°C (95°F), including inside a parked vehicle.
- If the battery becomes hot after charging or use, allow it to cool completely (approximately 20 minutes) before recharging, and inspect it for damage.
