The ProTek RC 150LPS Low Profile Super Speed Metal Gear Servo is designed for racers who prioritize extremely quick steering response in a compact package. Based on the proven ProTek 160SS platform, the 150LPS combines a low-profile aluminum case, coreless motor, hardened metal gears, and high-voltage operation for demanding 1/10 and 1/12 scale racing applications.
At 7.4V, the 150LPS delivers a rapid 0.04 sec/60° transit speed along with 152 oz-in (10.95 kg-cm) of torque. This speed-focused performance makes it particularly well suited for racing applications where fast steering transitions and precise response are important.
The compact low-profile configuration helps save space and weight compared with traditional full-height servos. A full aluminum case adds rigidity while also assisting with heat dissipation during demanding use.
Inside, a coreless motor works with hardened metal gears and dual ball bearings to provide smooth and consistent operation.
An aluminum single-arm clamping servo horn is included, providing a stronger connection than a typical plastic servo horn. Aluminum servo ear guides are also included to help create a more rigid and secure mounting arrangement.
