The Onisiki Nekomata Limited Edition is a premium micro-scale RWD drift chassis designed to accommodate both 1/24 and 1/28 scale bodies. Delivered as a preassembled roller, the Nekomata combines extensive aluminum and carbon fiber construction with adjustable suspension geometry, a mid-motor layout, high-angle steering, and a highly adjustable wheelbase. Each Limited Edition chassis also features individually numbered components, with production restricted to only 1,000 units.
Only 1,000 Nekomata Limited Edition chassis were produced, numbered from 000 through 999. Each features laser-etched detailing and an individually numbered upper deck, giving the chassis a distinctive appearance in addition to its performance-oriented design.
The chassis includes the components needed to accommodate both 1/24 and 1/28 scale bodies. Its wheelbase can be adjusted from approximately 90mm to 120mm, while adjustable track width provides additional flexibility when fitting different micro bodies.
Adjustable turnbuckles, shock mounting positions, camber, and caster provide multiple options for fine-tuning the chassis to different surfaces and driving styles.
A mid-mounted motor configuration concentrates drivetrain components toward the center of the chassis for balanced rear-wheel-drive handling. The motor mount can also be rotated to alter weight distribution and center of gravity.
A dedicated rear ESC mounting location provides another way to influence rear weight bias when selecting and positioning electronics.
Low-profile front suspension arms provide clearance for a large steering angle, while an aluminum direct-steering servo horn helps create a responsive steering connection. Adjustable upper arms allow camber and caster changes to further refine front-end behavior.
The front suspension also uses a lay-down cantilever shock arrangement with grease dampers for compact packaging and controlled suspension movement.
The Nekomata makes extensive use of CNC-machined aluminum and carbon fiber components. Aluminum bulkheads, steering knuckles, rear hubs, gearbox components, and chassis braces provide rigidity, while a hard-coated steel layshaft and metal driveshafts contribute to drivetrain durability.
Full ball bearings are used throughout the drivetrain to provide smooth operation and reduce friction.
