The No Superior Designs RC RS2500 V2 1/5 Insane Torque Servo is a high-performance, high-voltage steering servo engineered for large-scale RC vehicles that demand extreme torque, fast response, and heavy-duty construction.
Capable of operating from 8.4V up to 16.8V, the RS2500 V2 produces as much as 2650 oz-in (191kg-cm) of torque while reaching speeds as quick as 0.075 sec/60° at maximum operating voltage. This combination makes it well suited for large-scale crawlers, bashers, trucks, and other demanding applications where conventional servos may struggle to provide sufficient steering authority.
The RS2500 V2 is designed to take advantage of high-voltage power systems, with performance increasing significantly as operating voltage rises.

Dual ball bearings provide additional support for smooth operation under demanding steering loads.
The electronics and drivetrain are housed inside a black anodized CNC-machined aluminum case.
In addition to providing a rigid structure for the internal components, the aluminum construction helps dissipate heat generated during demanding operation.
A 10-point O-ring sealing system helps protect the servo against moisture and contaminants encountered during normal RC use.
The servo is water resistant but is not intended for complete submersion.
The RS2500 V2 uses a 15-tooth output spline. A properly fitting servo horn must fully engage the spline to safely transfer the servo's substantial torque.
When using an aftermarket horn, verify that the spline engagement is deep enough to fully seat on the output shaft.

NOTE: The servo must not be powered through a battery balance plug. The servo power connection or ESC power switch should be disconnected/turned off when the vehicle is not in use. When using an aftermarket servo horn, make sure the horn fully seats onto the RS2500's spline shaft.
