Equipped with a completely new chassis and mechanism designed specifically for drifting,
this is the new standard for drift R/C!

The FAZER series ready-set is attractive for its easiness of being able to drive immediately after removing it from the package, installing a charged battery in the body, and inserting batteries into the transmitter. Now, the long-awaited RWD drift model "FAZER D2" is being released! Rear two-wheel drive (RWD) is the most popular drive system for current 1/10 scale drift R/C cars, and the way it drifts by turning the counter-steering wheel as if it were a real car is very popular. This FAZER D2 uses a drift-specific RWD chassis that is completely different from the conventional FAZER series, and while the weight distribution and suspension design are optimized for drifting, it is also equipped with a receiver with a built-in gyro unit that automatically performs counter-steering operations according to the slide of the car body. The gyro not only controls the steering but also the throttle, providing perfect support for those who have never driven a drift R/C car before. Of course, the chassis also incorporates the trends of modern drift R/C cars, such as the use of long span suspension arms and a high-mounted motor, to achieve comfortable drifting, while also taking into consideration ease of handling and setting. Even though it is a completed Readyset, you can enjoy setting and tuning up the car in a way that only a full-fledged R/C car can by changing parts. The body, which is essential to enhance the atmosphere of drifting, is Kyosho's ultra-scale body, and it also has a variable wheelbase function that allows a variety of bodies to be mounted. Traditionally, 1/10 scale drift cars have been seen as being for users with a certain degree of experience, but with the arrival of the completed Readyset FAZER D2, they have become much more accessible.

What is "ULTRA SCALE BODY PLUS"?

The "ULTRA SCALE BODY" can be called a "mobile display model" with its body, light buckets, bumpers and mirrors faithfully reproduced, and every detail of the car's design is meticulously crafted. The "ULTRA SCALE BODY PLUS" takes the scale even further by not drilling any holes in the polycarbonate body.

●A fully assembled 1/10 scale EP (electric) drift car ready-to-run set. All you need is 4 AA batteries for the transmitter, a battery for the car, and a charger for the battery for the car.
●The body is painted, decals are applied, and the R/C mechanism is installed at the factory, so you can drive it right after purchase.
●The newly designed RWD chassis is equipped with steering and throttle gyros, so anyone can enjoy drifting easily.
●Comes standard with plastic drift tires that provide both sliding performance and controllability.
●Uses a newly designed KRG-331D receiver with built-in gyro and KS4072-06W servo.
●The variable wheelbase mechanism allows most existing FAZER series bodies to be mounted.
●Equipped with a battery holder that can accommodate battery packs of different sizes. Most battery packs for general-purpose R/C cars can be mounted.
●Tuning up is also possible using a wide range of optional parts.

A completely new RWD chassis designed specifically for drifting. The R/C mechanism is already installed and it is equipped with a receiver with a built-in gyro. The suspension and motor mount are also specially designed for drifting.

The Toyota AE86 Sprinter Trueno, a model that first appeared in 1983 but remains popular to this day, is reproduced in an ultra-scale body. The front and rear bumpers are reproduced with plastic parts, giving it a more scaled look. In addition, the distinctive retractable headlights can be opened and closed (manually).

The wheels faithfully reproduce the design of the ever-popular "8-spoke Watanabe Wheels" and are made using a new mold specifically for drifting.

Long span type front double wishbone suspension ensures sufficient steering angle. Caster angle, roll center, and other geometry can be changed.

The motor is mounted on the top of the chassis to induce moderate roll. The G22 brushed motor with easy-to-handle output characteristics is standard. A gear cover is attached to prevent damage to the gears caused by pebbles and sand when driving in parking lots.

This motor mount eliminates the need for gear backlash (mesh) adjustment, which is a difficult task for beginners. If you want to change the gear ratio from the standard kit ratio, use the elongated hole to fit Kyosho 48P pinion gears 16-37T.

The steering is equipped with a new servo, KS4072-06W, with operating characteristics suited to drifting. In combination with the newly developed gyro unit, it achieves optimal counter-steering operation.

Equipped with a newly developed receiver KRG-331D with a built-in gyro unit updated for drifting. Gyro function is provided not only for the steering but also for the throttle (speed control), and the gain (effectiveness) of each can be adjusted with a dial.

The ESC (Electronic Speed Controller) is mounted at the rear of the car to optimize weight distribution for drifting. The ESC is fixed in a special tray that can be removed with a single screw for easy maintenance.

The resin main chassis is split into front and rear sections, and the wheelbase can be adjusted by changing the connection points. The wheelbase can be set to suit the body being mounted.

A newly designed stealth type body mount is used, with the body fixing posts and pins not exposed to the outside. You can enjoy drifting with a more realistic look.

The hubs that the wheels are fitted to are equipped with dummy brake calipers and discs, which greatly contribute to improving the scale appearance of the machine. The rear drive unit uses a spool (rigid) axle without a differential function to support smooth drifting.
