The Furitek Nanodrive 380 10.5T Sensored Brushless Drift Motor is an ultra-lightweight performance motor developed specifically for 1/10 scale RC drift cars. Unlike a conventional 540-size drift motor, the Nanodrive uses a compact 380-size architecture while retaining a direct-mount design that fits standard 1/10 drift motor mounts without requiring an adapter.
Weighing only 98 grams, the Nanodrive significantly reduces motor weight while delivering smooth, responsive sensored brushless performance. An integrated micro cooling fan, L38 mid-torque rotor, high-grade neodymium magnets, and CNC-machined 7075-T6 aluminum housing combine to create a motor focused on precise throttle control and technical RWD drifting.
This version features Furitek's distinctive Purple Edition anodized finish.
At only 98 grams, the Nanodrive 380 weighs considerably less than a traditional 540-size drift motor.
Reducing motor weight can help improve chassis weight distribution and responsiveness, particularly in RWD drift cars where rear weight and rotational behavior can have a noticeable effect on transitions and overall handling.
Despite its compact 380-size architecture, the Nanodrive is engineered to mount directly to standard 1/10 drift motor mounts.
No special motor adapter or custom mounting bracket is required, allowing the smaller motor to be installed in compatible drift chassis using a conventional mounting arrangement.
The motor comes equipped with Furitek's L38 Mid-Torque Rotor using high-grade neodymium magnets.
This rotor configuration is designed to provide smooth power delivery with strong low-end response, helping drivers maintain precise throttle modulation through technical corners and transitions.
Sensored operation provides accurate rotor-position feedback to a compatible sensored ESC, allowing the motor to deliver smooth startup and predictable throttle response.
This precise low-speed control is especially useful in drifting, where small throttle adjustments can significantly affect wheel speed, traction, and vehicle angle.
An internal micro cooling fan is built directly into the motor housing.
The integrated design provides active airflow without requiring an external motor fan or additional fan wiring. Precision ventilation openings around the housing work together with the internal fan to help move heat away from the motor during extended drift sessions.
The motor housing is CNC machined from 7075-T6 aluminum, combining low weight with excellent structural rigidity and heat-dissipation characteristics.
The Purple Edition receives an anodized finish that gives the motor a distinctive appearance while complementing other purple electronics and chassis components.
Furitek rates the Nanodrive 380 at 94% efficiency.
The combination of its compact rotor architecture, high-grade magnetic system, precision construction, and active cooling is designed to provide efficient power delivery for demanding drift applications.
Heat-resistant internal components are designed to maintain reliable performance under demanding operating conditions.
Furitek lists a maximum operating temperature of 200°C, while specific internal materials are rated for high-temperature use.
Motor timing can be adjusted for additional tuning of power delivery and motor behavior.
NOTE: Furitek specifies that Nanodrive motors have a minimum timing adjustment of 20 degrees. Keep this limitation in mind when configuring the motor and ESC for a particular setup.
